You are never too young to make an impact

The cemetery is the richest place, they say. So many unfulfilled dreams, gloomy visions and untapped potential. Some people die without living out the dreams they had for themselves. For some, it’s not because they were unable to, or they didn’t have enough resources, but it’s because someone said to them, “If only you were a little older” or even worse, “You are too young to think you can have such great impact”.
The battles that you can take on in life, are not determined by your age, but by your ability to recognise the power you have. You can do anything you set your mind to do. The fulfilment of your goals, dreams and aspirations, is a result of your zeal and tenacity and not age. You are never too young or too old to make things happen. Your success is independent of your age.
The life and story of David in 1 Samuel 17 is a clear example that age means nothing, and it is never tied to success. Age is not a barrier, it is a limitation you put to your mind. David was only in his youth but he was able fight a giant that his elders could not. In his youth, he took on the fate of an entire nation and redeemed them, took away all reproach and restored their pride.
In life, always know that people will have opinions of when they think things should happen in your life. People will always have something to say about you- “She’s too young, she’s not good enough”. In 1 Samuel 17 v 33, Saul thought, what would a young man like David do to defeat a giant like Goliath, one who has been a man of war all his life. He had tied the success of David to his age. Little did he know that, it’s never about age.
So, chin up, chest out and get out there and conquer the world. Your dreams are valid. Your ideas matter. That business idea that you have, work on it, build on it and create a legacy for yourself. You can influence the world even in your teens, in your twenties too. It is never about how old you are but the ideas you have. Attend that conference that you have always wanted to attend. Your hopes, qualify you to be there. Make war with these words – YOU ARE NEVER YOUNG TO MAKE AN IMPACT.

1 Samuel 17 v 33 And Saul said to David, Thou Art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he, a man of war from his youth.

I like what you said about some people dying without living their dreams. It’s true. It has happened before and it’s still happening, and will probably continue to happen.
Recently, I got thinking, and realised that it’s even more tragic to have people who are still living but haven’t ever dreamed of anything, so they die without living their dreams not because of constraints, but because they had no dream at all to live for.
